UNIVERSITY OF HEALTH SCIENCES LAHORE SITUATION VACANT

The University of Health Sciences (UHS) Lahore is a public sector organization offering a congenial working environment with excellent opportunities for personal and professional growth. It is an equal-opportunity employer. The University invites applications from eligible candidates having domicile in Punjab for the following posts on a contract basis:

1. Hostel Warden (BPS-14) – One Vacancy
   • Graduation from a recognized university with at least five years of experience as a House Keeper in a renowned medical university, government institution, or hostel accommodating 250 or more residents.
2. Data Entry Operator (BPS-11) – Four Vacancies
   • Graduate in Computer Science from an HEC-recognized university with one year of relevant experience in a reputable organization or institution.
3. Security Supervisor (BPS-11) – One Vacancy
   • Ex-Army personnel, retired JCO from fighting/supporting arms with a minimum of 24 years of color service.
4. Security Guard (BPS-06) – Two Vacancies
   • Ex-Army personnel with at least 15 years of color service in fighting/supporting arms.
5. Cook (BPS-02) – Three Vacancies
   • Middle pass with a minimum of five years of relevant experience.
6. Janitor (BPS-01) – Fifty Vacancies
   • As per Specialized Healthcare & Medical Education Department’s Notification issued vide No. SO(P-II)SBD(Outstanding/2023 (Janitorial), dated 15 August 2023.
   • Responsibilities:
     • Clean assigned building areas.
     • Regularly check premises and perform necessary maintenance tasks.
     • Collaborate with other staff members.
     • Disinfect commonly used items like desks, door handles, and side railings.
     • Maintain outdoor grounds by cutting grass and trimming bushes.
     • Remove debris, empty trash, and recycling bins.
     • Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors.
     • Wash and clean windows and mirrors.
     • Notify supervisors of unsafe conditions.
     • Operate floor scrubbers and other equipment.
     • Dust furniture and fixtures.
     • Follow safety guidelines when working with chemical cleaners.
     • Have knowledge of various cleaning products and their proper use.
     • Follow health and safety regulations.
     • Must be medically and physically fit.

IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS

1. For all positions, a written test/technical test/typing test and performance evaluation test will be conducted. Only candidates who qualify in these tests will be called for an interview.
2. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in a reputable public-sector medical university/institution.
3. The maximum age limit for posts numbered 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 is 55 years, while for post number 6, the age limit is 18-45 years as of the last application submission date.
4. Equivalent qualifications mean similar qualifications at the same level in the respective subject.
5. No TA/DA shall be admissible.
6. Selected candidates may be posted at any campus of the university (City & Jinnah Campus KSK).
7. Incomplete applications or those received after the due date will not be entertained.
8. Only Punjab domiciled candidates are eligible to apply.
9. The university reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of posts without prior notice.
10. Applicants already working in public sector organizations/departments must apply through the proper channel.

HOW TO APPLY

1. The application process consists of two phases:
   • Online submission
   • Manual submission
2. Candidates must fill out an online form available at UHS Website.
3. Applicants should carefully complete the form, including personal, educational, and experience details. Once submitted, no edits can be made.
4. After submitting the form, candidates must print it by clicking the “DOWNLOAD AND PRINT” button. If unable to print at the moment, they can access it later through the “SEARCH” button.
5. The prescribed application fee must be paid through bank challan available at fms.uhs.edu.pk via iLink or at any branch of the Bank of Punjab (BOP). The fee details are:
   • BPS 01 to 04: Rs. 100/-
   • BPS 05 to 16: Rs. 500/-
6. The printed application form, along with attested copies of certificates, testimonials, CNIC, domicile, passport-size colored photographs, and the original bank challan as proof of fee payment, must reach the Office of Deputy Registrar (HR), Room #12, University of Health Sciences, Khayaban-e-Jamia Punjab, Lahore, by post or by hand submission at the Diary & Dispatch Section, UHS Lahore, on or before February 13, 2025, during working hours.
