The Azad Government of the State of Jammu & Kashmir Joint Admission Committee has announced admissions for the academic session 2024-2025 for MBBS and BDS programs. Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission into the government medical and dental colleges of Azad Jammu & Kashmir (AJ&K) and for reserved seats in medical colleges across Pakistan (Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Sindh, and Balochistan).

Eligibility Criteria
To apply, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Academic Qualifications:
- Candidates must have completed their FSC/A-level or an equivalent HSSC qualification with 60% or more aggregate marks, as per PM&DC regulations.
- Only the scores in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics/Mathematics will be considered in merit calculation.
- Entrance Exam:
- Applicants must have cleared the National MDCAT-2023 or MDCAT-2024 with a minimum score of 55% for MBBS and 50% for BDS.
- For overseas candidates applying under special quotas, the MDCAT requirement is waived; instead, they must qualify with at least 550 SAT-II subject scores or equivalent qualifications like foreign MCAT or UCAT.

Merit Calculation
The following weightage criteria will be applied to determine the merit score:
- Matriculation/SSC or Equivalent: 10%
- HSSC/FSc Pre-Medical or Equivalent: 40%
- MDCAT: 50%
Online Application Procedure
- The application process is completely online. Candidates must register at mcadmissions.admin.gok.pk/login.
- Applicants must fill out the online form and upload original scanned documents (e.g., State Subject Class-1, domicile, CNIC, PRC, etc.). Refugee candidates are exempted from PRC and domicile but must upload their Refugee Cards.
- Candidates must list their college preferences, which cannot be changed after submission.
- A non-refundable fee of Rs. 3,000 plus Rs. 400 for IT charges is to be deposited via Easy Paisa or other listed methods to complete the application process.

- Provisional Merit List Announcement: 5 February 2025

Important Notes for Applicants
- Candidates must provide authentic and complete documentation during the application process. Incomplete or false submissions will result in disqualification for a period of seven years.
- Foreign qualification holders (A/O Levels) must upload their IBCC equivalence certificates.
- No late submissions for MDCAT results, academic certificates, or domicile will be entertained.
- Differently-abled applicants are required to appear before the medical board as per the provided schedule.
