Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Educational Background:
  Minimum education requirement is a Bachelor’s degree. Preference will be given to candidates with a Master’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Commerce, Economics, or any equivalent qualification from a Higher Education Commission (HEC)-recognized university in Pakistan. For degrees from foreign institutions, an HEC equivalency certificate is required.
  Certifications such as CFA, ACCA, or FRM are considered an added advantage.
• Experience:
  At least 15 years of experience in Corporate or Investment Banking within the financial services industry, with a minimum of 5 years at a senior leadership level. Candidates currently leading Corporate & Investment Banking functions in a financial institution are exempted from this specific experience requirement. Preference will be given to individuals with Islamic banking expertise.
• Age Limit:
  The age limit will be governed by the bank’s HR policies.

Key Responsibilities

As the Group Head Corporate & Investment Banking, you will:

• Identify and pursue growth opportunities in corporate lending, trade finance, investment banking, and treasury services.
• Collaborate with Treasury, Risk, and Operations teams for efficient execution of financial solutions.
• Ensure adherence to robust risk assessment practices, regulatory standards, and internal policies.
• Develop and implement strategies to achieve revenue, profitability, and market share targets.
• Perform any other duties related to Corporate & Investment Banking as assigned by the management.
