Vacancy Announcement: Hayatabad Medical Complex HMC Peshawar

Hayatabad Medical Complex (HMC), Peshawar, invites applications for the prestigious role of Dean MTI-HMC/KGMC and its affiliate/constituent institutes. Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must meet the following qualifications:

1. Academic Qualifications
   • A medical academic with national or international recognition.
   • Either a Ph.D. degree or a medical qualification such as MBBS with a higher diploma (e.g., FCPS, FRCP, FRCS, or US Board certification) or its equivalent.
2. Experience
   • At least 7 years of administrative experience in positions such as Chairman, Head of Department, Unit, Program, or Institution.
   • Proven teaching experience supported by recognized credentials or documentary evidence of commitment to medical education and research.
3. Term and Gender
   • Open to both males and females.
   • Appointment term: Five years.

Application Guidelines

1. Applications must include:
   • Comprehensive bio-data.
   • Attested copies of academic, experience, and domicile certificates.
   • Two recent passport-sized photographs.
   • Attested CNIC copy.
   • Bank Draft/Payment Order of Rs. 2,000, payable to Hospital Director MTI-HMC, or deposited directly in Bank of Khyber, HMC Branch (Account: PLS00060-00-2, Branch Code: 0185).
2. Submit applications to the Office of the Secretary, Board of Governors, MTI-HMC, within 15 working days from the publication of the advertisement.
3. Application forms are available on the official HMC website: www.hmckp.gov.pk.

Important Terms and Conditions

1. Employment Framework: Governed under the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Medical & Teaching Institutions Reform Act 2015 and subsequent regulations.
2. Civil Servants: Relevant government rules apply. Selected candidates must resign from civil service before appointment.
3. Application Submission:
   • Incomplete or late applications will not be entertained.
   • Applications must be routed through proper channels, including NOCs from supervising authorities where applicable.
4. Scrutiny & Rejection:
   • The Scrutiny Committee can reject incomplete applications. Appeals can be made to the Competent Authority, HMC (BOG), whose decision is final.
5. Disqualification: Candidates may be disqualified for reasons such as falsification of information, submission of forged certificates, or misbehavior during the interview.
6. Interview Protocol:
   • Original documents must be presented during the interview.
   • No TA/DA will be provided.
7. Cancellation Rights: The Board of Governors (BOG) reserves the right to cancel the recruitment process without explanation.
