Available Positions
MEPCO invites applications for the following C-level positions:
- Chief Financial Officer (CFO) – 1 position
- Company Secretary – 1 position
These roles require candidates with exceptional leadership, communication, and operational skills to foster a culture of innovation, excellence, and integrity.
Responsibilities and Required Skills
Candidates for both positions will report directly to the CEO and Board of Directors, with responsibilities focused on optimizing performance, ensuring compliance, and nurturing growth. Ideal candidates will possess:
- Strong leadership, team-building, and change-management capabilities.
- Proficiency in navigating regulatory, economic, and business environments.
- Familiarity with best practices in national and international power utilities.
- Sharp business acumen and excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Eligibility Criteria
1. Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
- A member of a recognized professional accounting body.
- Minimum 15 years of relevant experience, including 5 years in a leadership role for organizations with assets of PKR 5 billion or more.
- Expertise in finance, investment, and treasury operations.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Age: Maximum 62 years.
2. Company Secretary
- A member of a recognized body of professional accountants, corporate/chartered secretaries, or an advanced degree in Business, Finance, Commerce, or Law.
- At least 10 years of relevant experience.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Age: Maximum 62 years.
Remuneration and Contract Tenure
MEPCO offers a competitive market salary based on qualifications and experience. Initial contracts are for three years, extendable upon satisfactory performance, up to a maximum age of 65 years.
