Admission Notice: Rawalpindi Medical University Invites Applications for 2025-2026 Academic Programs

Offered Programs and Details

1. Fellowship Program
   • Fellowship in Interventional Pain Medicine: 2-year duration
   • Eligibility: MBBS or equivalent degree recognized by PMDC, 1-year house job certificate, valid PMDC registration, and MSc Pain Medicine or FCPS/MS in Surgery and Allied or Anaesthesia
2. Master’s Programs
   • Masters in Health Professions Education (MHPE): 2 years (4 semesters)
   • Master of Science in Public Health (MSPH): 2 years (4 semesters)
   • Eligibility: 16 years of education in the relevant field, MBBS/BDS or equivalent, 1-year house job certificate, and valid registration with PMDC or regulatory body
3. MPhil Programs
   • MPhil in Histopathology and Chemical Pathology: 2 years
   • Eligibility: MBBS or equivalent degree, 1-year house job certificate, and valid PMDC registration
4. Diploma Programs
   • Offered in Family Medicine (DFM), Clinical Pathology, Medical Jurisprudence, Aesthetic Medicine, and Dermatology
   • Duration: 1–2 years, depending on the program
   • Eligibility: MBBS or equivalent, 1-year house job certificate, and valid PMDC registration
   • Fees: Range from PKR 50,000–300,000 annually
5. Certificate Programs
   • Programs: Health Professions Education, CT Scan Technology, Basic Clinical Sonology, Health Care Quality Management, and MRI Technology
   • Duration: 6 months
   • Eligibility: MBBS or equivalent degree, 1-year house job certificate, and valid PMDC registration
   • Fees: Range from PKR 25,000–100,000

Application Process

1. Download the application form from RMU’s official website: www.rmur.edu.pk
2. Submit the filled application form along with a non-refundable bank draft of PKR 3,000 to the Office of Medical Education, RMU Main Campus, Tipu Road, Rawalpindi, by February 10, 2025, before 2:00 PM.
3. Shortlisted candidates will be notified for entrance tests or interviews.
4. In-service candidates must apply through the proper channel with a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their department.
