Position Overview

Required Qualifications and Experience

To be eligible for the position of Director, candidates must meet specific educational and professional qualifications, along with relevant experience.

Essential Educational Qualifications:

1. Master’s Degree: Candidates must possess a Master’s degree in one of the following disciplines:

   • Pakistan Studies
   • History
   • Political Science
   • Sociology

   The degree must be from a recognized institution that is approved by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan.

2. Desirable Qualifications:

• National/International Stature: Individuals with a proven background in the field, having made substantial contributions to Pakistan Studies or the history of the Pakistan Movement, will be given preference.
• Candidates of national or international stature, who have made significant contributions to the relevant field, may also be considered based on their established reputation and experience.

Experience:

• A strong research and academic background in the history of Pakistan, particularly focusing on the life and legacy of Quaid-i-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah and the Pakistan Movement, is required.
• Experience in academic leadership, cultural management, or administrative roles in educational or cultural institutions will be advantageous.
