Latest PPSC Jobs Advertisement No. 31/2025

Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC) Lahore has announced multiple vacancies under different departments in its latest Advertisement No. 31/2025. These government jobs are available for both male and female candidates across various departments including Punjab Prisons Department, Research Wing of Agriculture Department, and Specialized Healthcare & Medical Education Department.

Punjab Prisons Department Vacancies

1. Assistant Superintendent Jail (BS-16)

• Total Posts: 115

• Required Education: Bachelor’s degree (Second division) from a recognized university by the Higher Education Commission.

• Experience: Preference given to those with five years’ service as Chief Warder (BS-11), Head Warder (BS-09), or Warder (BS-07).

• Gender: Male

• Domicile: All Punjab basis

• Place of Posting: Anywhere in Punjab

• Important: Experience/Service Certificate must be duly signed and stamped using the PPSC-prescribed format.

2. Lady Assistant Superintendent Jail (BS-16)

• Total Posts: 103

• Required Education: Same as above.

• Experience: Five years’ service as Chief Warder (BS-11), Head Warder (BS-09), or Warder (BS-07).

• Gender: Female

• Domicile: All Punjab basis

• Place of Posting: Anywhere in Punjab

• Note: Service Certificates must be verified and issued by relevant authority.

Research Wing of Agriculture Department

Senior Scientist (BS-18)

• Total Posts: 1 (Open Merit)

• Required Education: MS/M.Phil or equivalent in GIS & Remote Sensing with three years’ post-qualification experience in public sector projects.

• Age Limit: Male: 30 to 50 years + 5 years relaxation, Female: 30 to 50 years + 8 years relaxation

• Domicile: All Punjab

• Place of Posting: Lahore

• Note: Experience in the private sector is acceptable only if the organization is registered with SECP or any other Regulatory Authority. GIS project experience is mandatory.

Specialized Healthcare & Medical Education Department

1. Associate Professor Orthopaedic Surgery (BS-19)

• Total Posts: 4 (All Punjab basis, including 1 for Women Quota)

• Required Education: MBBS or equivalent with PMDC/PMC registration. FCPS/MS or equivalent in relevant subject from recognized university.

• Experience: 5 years teaching experience in a recognized medical institution with relevant publications.

• Age: Male: 30 to 50 years + 5 years relaxation, Female: 30 to 50 years + 8 years relaxation

• Place of Posting: Various Medical Institutions/Hospitals in Punjab

2. Professor Physiology (BS-20)

• Total Posts: 1 (For Women Quota)

• Required Education: MBBS or equivalent with PMDC/PMC registration and Ph.D. or M.Phil in relevant subject.

• Experience: 9 years teaching/research experience as Assistant Professor with at least 3 publications in standard journals.

• Age: Female: 30 to 50 years + 8 years relaxation

• Place of Posting: Various Medical Institutions/Hospitals in Punjab

Important Notes for Applicants

• Candidates must upload the hard copy of their online application with all educational and experience documents within 7 working days after the deadline.

• Only those research papers will be accepted which are original and published in standard medical journals recognized by PMDC/PMC.

• Experience in private medical institutions is accepted if recognized and registered by the relevant authority.

• Relaxation in upper age limit is applicable as per Punjab Government rules.

• No age or qualification relaxation will be given unless specifically allowed under the rules.

• Closing date for online applications is 11 August 2025.
