Capital Hospital Islamabad, a 500-bed hospital under the Capital Development Authority (CDA), is inviting applications for the induction and selection of Post Graduate and House Job trainees for the January 2025 session. This hospital is an accredited institute for postgraduate training, recognized by both the College of Physicians & Surgeons Pakistan and Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto Medical University. Available Postgraduate Training Programs:
Candidates interested in pursuing their postgraduate training in the following specialties are encouraged to apply for a Walk-in-Interview session:
- FCPS Programs:
- Paediatrics
- Gynecology/Obstetrics
- MS Program:
- Orthopedic Surgery
Eligibility Criteria for Postgraduate Training:
To be eligible for the postgraduate training programs, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Recent completion of FCPS Part-I in the respective specialty (2023-2024)
- An MBBS or an equivalent qualification, registered with the Pakistan Medical Commission (PMC)
- Completion of a one-year House Job from an institution recognized by PMC
- Permanent PMC Registration Certificate
- A valid, computerized CNIC
Date and Time for Walk-in-Interview: The walk-in interview for the mentioned programs will take place on 24th January 2025 (Friday) at 9:00 am.
House Job Training:
Additionally, applications are invited from fresh graduates of Government Medical Colleges for residential, structured House Job training. This is a paid opportunity that will begin from 1st February 2025. Available specialties for House Job training include:

- Gynaecology & Obstetrics

Important Dates for House Job Training Applications:
- Last date for obtaining House Job application forms: 20th January 2025 (available at the HO Section of Capital Hospital)
- Last date for submission of completed application forms: 23rd January 2025
- Display of eligible/shortlisted candidates list: 25th January 2025
- Date of interview for shortlisted candidates: 27th January 2025
- Display of list of selected candidates: 31st January 2025
Candidates will be required to present their original documents during the interview. Please note that no TA/DA will be provided for attending the test/interview.
