Available Vacancy Details

Pakistan Railways Peshawar Division has announced the following vacancy.

Candidates must possess the required qualification and fulfill the eligibility conditions before submitting the application.

Recruitment Quota Distribution

The recruitment will be conducted according to the following quota system.

• Open Merit: 60%

• Sons of Railway Employees: 20% quota including 2% reserved for sons of deceased railway employees (Railway card required)

• Ex-Servicemen: 10% (Service certificate required)

• Orphans other than Railways: 5% (Death certificate of father issued by NADRA required)

• Minorities: 5%

Domicile Requirements

Applicants must belong to the following areas.

Eligible Districts

• All districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa except Abbottabad, Haripur, Mansehra and Kohistan.

Additional Eligible Areas

• Tehsil Jand and Tehsil Attock of District Attock

• Tehsil Mianwali and Tehsil Essa Khel of District Mianwali

Age Limit

The age limit for the Gateman post is as follows.

• Minimum Age: 18 Years

• Maximum Age: 25 Years

• General Age Relaxation: 5 Years

Additional Age Relaxation

• Candidates from Scheduled Castes, Buddhist Community, FATA, Gilgit Baltistan, recognized tribes of Tribal Areas and Azad Kashmir may receive up to 3 years relaxation.

• Ex-servicemen may receive relaxation up to 15 years or equal to the number of years served in the Armed Forces of Pakistan.

• Government servants and contract employees with two years continuous service may receive 10 years relaxation.

• Widow or son/daughter of a deceased civil servant who died during service may receive 5 years relaxation.

Selection Procedure
