The National Disaster Risk Management Fund (NDRMF), a government-owned non-profit company established under Section 42 of the Companies Act 2017, is focused on enhancing Pakistan’s resilience against climatic and other natural hazards. Position Overview:

• Job Title: GIS Developer/Modeling Expert, NatCat Data Center (1 position)
• Contract Duration: 6 months (extendable based on performance)
• Location: Islamabad, Pakistan
• Eligibility: Applicants should meet the specified qualifications and experience criteria.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Academic Qualification: Candidates must have a BS/MS degree in Geoinformatics, Computer Science, GIS Development, Programming, or related fields.
• Experience:
  • Minimum of two years’ post-graduation experience.
  • At least three years’ overall experience in similar roles, with evidence of involvement in at least five significant national and international projects of similar nature.
  • Expertise in developing user-friendly interfaces and interactive dashboards using WebGIS technologies, such as JavaScript libraries (Node, Leaflet, OpenLayers), mapping APIs (e.g., Google Maps), and data visualization tools (e.g., D3.js, Chart.js).

Other Requirements:

• Applicants must not exceed 57 years of age.
• All qualifications and experience must be verified by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) or equivalent. Foreign qualified candidates must submit the necessary equivalence certificate(s).
