Position Overview

Educational & Professional Qualifications

Master’s degree from a local or international university recognized by HEC in:

Experience Requirements
-
Minimum 22 years of experience in the field of Information Technology.

At least 5 years as a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) or a similar leadership position.

8 years of leadership experience directly reporting to CIO/CTO.

Expertise in Core Banking, Technology Infrastructure, and Financial Sector applications.

Proven track record in cybersecurity measures and digital transformation initiatives.

Experience in designing and deploying banking technology such as:

Mobile & Online Banking Platforms

Payment Systems

Cloud-Analytics
-
CRM & ADC Initiatives

Data Analytics

Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.

Experience dealing with SBP, regulatory authorities, and senior management.
Key Skills & Expertise Required

Extensive knowledge of designing and managing technology infrastructure in banking.

Proficiency in core banking systems, payment systems, and trade finance applications.

Ability to implement cybersecurity measures as per banking industry standards.

Expertise in digital transformation to enhance customer experience.

Strong skills in data storage management and IT operations.

Experience in Project Management, Risk Management, and Regulatory Compliance.
Duties & Responsibilities

Lead strategic direction for IT functions, application management, and digital transformation.

Develop and maintain an efficient technology operating model.

Ensure seamless technology integration to improve banking operations.

Oversee cybersecurity risk management and compliance with regulatory standards.
-
Implement business continuity planning to manage operational risks.
-
Enhance customer experience through digital banking initiatives.
-
Drive the bank’s growth by transitioning from traditional to digital banking services.

Evaluate and improve IT functions and operations.
-
Identify investment opportunities in financial technology, staffing, and IT resources.
-
Supervise large-scale IT project implementations across the bank.
Assessment & Interview Process

Employment Details

The appointment will be on a contractual basis for three years, with renewal subject to management discretion.
