Position Overview
Job Title: Assistant Director (Network Engineer)
Location: Islamabad
Age Limit: 37 years (with 5 years’ relaxation included)
Contract Period: Initial contract of 5 years, extendable.
Educational Requirements
Applicants must have completed a Bachelor’s degree (4 years) in one of the following fields:
- Computer Science
- Information Technology
- Telecom Engineering
- Software Engineering
The degrees must be recognized and attested by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan.
Job Responsibilities and Experience Requirements
This position demands hands-on experience in managing, configuring, and troubleshooting various network elements and devices. The selected candidate will be responsible for:
- Troubleshooting and optimizing network performance
- Managing network elements, including firewalls, switches, NMS, NAC, and both wireless and wired networks.
- Implementing and maintaining communication network infrastructure.
A minimum of three years of post-qualification professional experience is required in the following areas:
- Configuration and optimization of networks, including multi-OEM switches, firewalls, and other network devices.
- Knowledge of communication technologies such as VPN, IPsec, SSL, DNS, DHCP, and IP subnetting.
Certifications:
- Certifications like CCNP, CCNA, CCIE Routing & Switching, Fortinet Firewalls Certified, Hillstone Certified, etc., are considered a plus.
Skills and Competencies:
- Skilled in creating and maintaining network documentation such as SOPs, manuals, configuration guides, and IP schemes.
- Ability to work in various shifts, including both morning and evening shifts.
Terms & Conditions
- The selected candidate will be hired on a 5-year contract, which is extendable based on performance and organizational needs.
