Mir Chakar Khan Rind University (MCKRU), located in Sibi, is inviting applications for admissions for the Spring 2025 session. The university offers a range of academic programs, including undergraduate/Associate Degree programs and a 5-year LLB program. 1. Undergraduate/Associate Degree Programs:
- Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) (4 Years)
- BS in Botany (4 Years)
2. LLB Program (5 Years)
Eligibility Criteria:
A. For Associate Degree Holders:
- Admission to Fifth Semester: Students who have completed an Associate Degree are eligible for admission to the fifth semester of the corresponding undergraduate/equivalent degree program in the same discipline without the need for deficiency courses. However, a minimum CGPA of 2.0/4.0 (C grade) is required.
- Different Disciplines: For those holding an Associate Degree in a discipline different from the desired undergraduate program, students will need to complete a bridging semester with deficiency courses before advancing to the fifth semester.
B. For Conventional Two-Year BA/B.Sc. Holders:
- Admission to Fifth Semester: Students holding a conventional two-year BA/B.Sc. or an equivalent qualification are eligible for admission to the fifth semester of an undergraduate/equivalent program. These students will be required to complete deficiency courses through a bridging semester.
- Eligibility Requirement: A minimum of 45% cumulative score in their prior qualification (BA/B.Sc./or equivalent degree).
C. For LLB Program (5 Years):
- Eligibility Requirements:
- Candidates must have completed F.A/F.Sc./A-level or an equivalent qualification with at least a second division from a recognized institution or board.
- Applicants must have passed the Law Admission Test (LAT) conducted by the Higher Education Commission (HEC), Islamabad, to be eligible for admission.
Application Process:
- Applicants must submit their applications through the online form available on the university’s website: www.mckru.edu.pk.
- Application Fee: A processing fee of Rs. 1,500 for undergraduate programs can be paid through a bank draft in favor of the Director Finance, MCKRU, or deposited at the UBL Sibi Branch, Account No. 1498-268402914.
- Required Documents:
- Attested copies of all academic degrees and diplomas (Bachelor, Matric, Intermediate, etc.), CNIC (applicant and father), B-form (applicant), local domicile certificates, character certificates from the last institution, and four recent passport-sized photographs.
Important Notes:
- The completed application forms, along with the processing fee slip and attested documents, must be submitted to the Director of Undergraduate Studies Office (UGSO) at MCKRU before the closing date.
- Incomplete applications will not be entertained.
- The university reserves the right to withhold or cancel admissions in any program without providing any reason.
