Key Responsibilities

The appointed Chief Strategy Officer will be responsible for overseeing LESCO’s Market Implementation and Regulatory Affairs Department. Primary duties include:

• Leading the market implementation strategy and regulatory affairs for LESCO.

• Providing strategic insights for competitive electricity market operations.

• Ensuring compliance with regulatory authorities, including NEPRA, CPPA, and other stakeholders.

• Developing power procurement strategies and market structures aligned with industry regulations.

• Managing commercial agreements, energy market contracts, and stakeholder relationships.

• Driving the company’s strategic vision, including corporate development and business growth initiatives.

Qualification & Experience

Candidates must meet the following criteria:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Finance, Accounting, Law, or Management Sciences from a recognized institution.

• Minimum 15 years of experience, including at least 10 years in the power or energy sector.

• Strong knowledge of electricity markets, power sector regulations, and strategic planning.

• Experience working with regulatory bodies such as NEPRA and CPPA.

• Proven expertise in leading strategic initiatives within an organization.

Age Limit

Applicants should not exceed 62 years of age at the time of application submission.

Remuneration & Contract Period

• Competitive salary package based on qualifications and experience.

• Three-year contract, extendable based on performance.

• Annual performance evaluation by the Board of Directors, with Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) set to assess progress.
