The Government of Pakistan’s Planning Commission, under the Ministry of Planning, Development & Special Initiatives (Projects Wing), has announced multiple job opportunities for highly committed and motivated professionals. These positions are available on a contract basis under the project “Strengthening of Ministry of PD&SI in Monitoring & Evaluation of PSDP Projects.”

Available Positions & Eligibility Criteria

1. Director – Implementation & Compliance (PPS-09)

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Economics (Agriculture Economics), MBA, MPA, MS in Project Management, Engineering Management, or BSc Engineering.

Experience:

  • 12 years of experience in Planning, Appraisal, Implementation, Monitoring & Evaluation of public sector development projects.

2. Chief Monitoring Officer (PPS-09)

Qualifications:

  • M.A/M.Sc (Economics), M.Sc (Agri. Economics), MBA/MPA, B.Sc (Engg.), M.S in Project Management/Engineering Management.

Experience:

  • 12 years of experience in Planning, Implementation & Monitoring of Development Projects.

  • Experience with PSDP projects and public sector monitoring is preferred.

  • Field monitoring requires traveling to remote areas.

3. Director/Chief Evaluation Officer (PPS-09)

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Economics, Agricultural Economics, Social Science, Public Administration, or Engineering (Civil, Electrical & Mechanical) from an HEC-recognized university.

Experience:

  • 12 years of Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) experience, preferably in PSDP projects.

  • Strong knowledge of project management tools and evaluation methodologies.

4. Evaluation Officer (PPS-08)

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Economics, Agricultural Economics, Health Sciences, Natural Sciences, Social Sciences, or Engineering (Civil, Electrical & Mechanical) from an HEC-recognized university.

Experience:

  • 6 years of experience in conducting evaluations of public sector projects.

5. Monitoring Officer (PPS-08)

Qualifications:

  • M.A (Economics), M.Sc (Agri. Economics), MBA, B.Sc (Engg.), Master’s in Public Health, MS (Project Management).

Experience:

  • 5 years of experience in planning, implementation, and monitoring of development projects.

  • Preference for experience in PSDP projects or public sector projects.

  • Requires traveling to remote areas for field monitoring.

6. Deputy Director – Implementation & Compliance (PPS-08)

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Economics, Agricultural Economics, MBA, MPA, BSc Engineering, or MS in Project Management.

Experience:

  • 8 years of experience in Planning, Implementation & Monitoring of Public Sector Development Projects.

7. Admin Officer (PPS-07)

Qualifications:

  • MA (Economics), M. HRM, MBA (Finance), MPA, M.Com from an HEC-recognized university.

Experience:

  • 5 years of experience in administration, procurement, accounts, and personnel management.

  • Preference for experience in government departments.

8. APS (PPS-06)

Qualifications:

  • BA/BSc with speed of 80/40 words per minute in shorthand and typing.

  • Computer literacy is preferred.

Experience:

  • 2 years of relevant experience.

9. Accountant (PPS-06)

Qualifications:

  • MBA (Finance), M.Com, CA Inter, ACCA Foundation.

Experience:

  • 1 year of experience in account maintenance and reconciliation with AGPR.
