Admission Schedule for MBBS/BDS Session 2024-25: Private Sector Colleges in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa

Khyber Medical University (KMU) has been officially designated as the admitting university for MBBS and BDS programs in all public and private sector medical and dental colleges of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for the academic session 2024-25. This is based on the notification issued by the Department of Health, Government of KP, following the Provincial Cabinet’s approval. The centralized admission process aims to ensure transparency and merit-based placements.

Key Points from the Notification:

1. Retention of Admission Fee:
   KMU will retain an initial admission/tuition fee not exceeding one-third of the total payable fee (minimum PKR 300,000) for private sector admissions. The retained fee will either be transferred to the concerned colleges or refunded to the student upon withdrawal or confirmed admission elsewhere.
2. Merit-Based Admission Process:
   KMU will conduct a centralized merit-based admission test and oversee the placement process for eligible candidates.

Important Instructions:

• Selected candidates must deposit their fee within three working days after receiving the admission offer to confirm their seat.

• Submitting forged or fake documents will result in the candidate’s disqualification and cancellation of admission.
