Individual Consultant Procurement Notice for Forensic Science Enhancement in Balochistan
The Home Department of Balochistan is seeking a highly qualified individual consultant to enhance forensic capabilities at the Balochistan Forensic Science Agency in Quetta. This role is offered for a 6-month contract, with the potential for extension. The selected candidate will be part of the team strengthening forensic science capabilities in the region.

Position Title: Individual Consultant
Number of Posts: 1
Qualification and Experience Required:
- Age Limit: 45 to 67 years
- Academic Qualification: Ph.D. in Analytical Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or any related discipline. Advanced certifications in forensic methodologies or laboratory management are highly desirable.
- Experience: Applicants must possess at least 15 years of post-Ph.D. experience in forensic applications, with a minimum of 10 years of laboratory work. This experience should include DNA profiling, toxicological analysis, or trace evidence analysis. Expertise in managing ISO/IEC 17025-accredited forensic laboratories, along with experience in quality assurance systems, is also essential.
- Research: Applicants should have at least 8 peer-reviewed publications in relevant fields, including a minimum of 3 in international journals, particularly focusing on biochemistry or forensic sciences.
