General Information:
Qualification:
Candidates must have a recognized Master’s Degree in Hospital Management, Health Services Management, Business Management, Public Health, Public Administration, or any other relevant management qualifications.

• Candidates holding a recognized Medical Degree with additional management qualifications and experience are encouraged to apply.

Experience:

• At least 05 years of post-qualification management experience in a similar organization or institution (relaxable by the Board of Governors in case of an outstanding candidate).

Skills:

• Excellent soft skills, including but not limited to communication, ability to work under stress, team development, and timely compliance with tasks assigned by the Board of Governors (BOG).
• Excellent time management skills.
• Proven leadership and project management skills. Ability to lead a workforce compatible with this institution.

Hospital Director Vacancy at MTI Abbottabad

Main Responsibilities

• Oversee all non-clinical functions of the hospital.
• Prepare annual budget and business plan for presentation to the Management Committee and Board.
• Maintenance of building and oversight of engineering services.
• Develop and maintain ancillary services, including but not limited to pharmacy, nursing, materials management, human resources, clerical, communications, and security services.
• Act as Principal Accounting Officer, responsible and accountable for maintaining financial discipline and transparency at Ayub Teaching Hospital.
• Responsible for implementing Board and Management Committee policies and achieving targets set by the Board.

The Hospital Director reports to the Board of Governors of MTI-ATH and is responsible to the Board. The MTI Act, rules and regulations, and MTI-ATH rules and regulations, as amended and updated from time to time, shall apply.

1. All roles, responsibilities, and methods of selection and appointment shall strictly adhere to the MTI Act, rules and regulations, as well as the updated MTI-ATH rules and regulations.
2. All educational documents and experience certificates will be verified during the shortlisting process. In case of fake/unverified documents, the candidate will be disqualified and action will be taken as per law.
3. The candidate must be in good standing with their current employer (reference letter required).
4. The Hospital Director must have no conflict of interest with the position. The post is non-practicing.
5. The position is contractual for a period of 05 years, extendable for 02 further terms of 05 years each at the discretion of the Board.
6. Candidates working in government/semi-government organizations must apply through the proper channel and provide an NOC. If selected, government employees must resign from their current position.
7. An attractive salary package and benefits based on the qualifications and experience of the appointee will be offered.
8. Incomplete or late applications will not be considered. The scrutiny committee is authorized to reject incomplete or late applications. The aggrieved candidate may appeal in writing to the competent authority for review, whose decision shall be final.
