Vacancy Announcement by Ministry of Information and Broadcasting – Digital Communication Department (ENCSU)

The Digital Communication Department of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of Pakistan, is inviting applications for various contractual positions under the PSDP project titled “Establishment of National Communication & Strategy Unit (ENCSU)”. These job opportunities are based in Islamabad and are ideal for experienced professionals in the fields of media, communication, research, and outreach.

Available Positions and Eligibility Criteria

Project Head (PPS-10)
Applicants must possess a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree (16 years of education) in Project Management, Business Administration, Digital Media Marketing, or a related field from an HEC-recognized or equivalent institution. A minimum of 10 years of experience in project management within a reputable national or international organization is required. Preference will be given to candidates with international exposure. The age limit is 40 to 50 years.

Campaign Manager – Economy (PPS-9)
Candidates should hold a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree (16 years) in Digital Media Marketing, Mass Communication, Economics, or a related field. A minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in planning, executing, and optimizing digital media campaigns across various platforms is required. International organization experience is preferred. Age limit: 35 to 45 years.

Campaign Manager – Culture & Tourism (PPS-9)
Applicants must have a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree (16 years) in Tourism and Culture, Mass Communication, Media Studies, History of Pakistan, or a relevant discipline. The role requires 7 years of experience in digital campaign management, with a preference for those who have worked with international organizations. Age limit: 35 to 45 years.

Campaign Manager – Outreach (PPS-9)
A Master’s or Bachelor’s degree (16 years) in Digital Marketing, Mass Communication, Public Relations, or any similar field is required. Candidates must have 7 years of experience in managing outreach campaigns and exhibit strong communication and interpersonal skills. Experience with international organizations will be advantageous. Age limit: 35 to 45 years.

Content Developer – Economy (PPS-8)
A Bachelor’s degree (14 years) in Digital Media Marketing, Mass Communication, Media Studies, Economics, or a relevant field is necessary. The position demands 5 years of experience in content development, particularly focused on economic topics. Preference will be given to those with international work experience. Age range: 35 to 45 years.

Researcher (PPS-7)
Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree (14 years) in Computer Science, Mass Communication, Media Studies, or an equivalent field. A minimum of 3 years of experience in digital media research in a reputed organization is essential. Candidates with international exposure will be preferred. Age range: 25 to 40 years.

Assistant (PPS-5)
The candidate must be a graduate with proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer literacy. The age range for this position is 18 to 28 years.

General Terms and Conditions

1. Candidates who have previously applied for these positions do not need to reapply.

2. All vacancies are project-based and filled according to merit.

3. The initial contract duration is one year, extendable based on performance and project requirements.

5. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for test or interview. No TA/DA will be provided.
