Career Opportunity: Chief Executive Officer at Pakistan Gems and Jewellery Development Company

Pakistan Gems and Jewellery Development Company (PGJDC), under the Ministry of Industries and Production, Government of Pakistan, is seeking a highly qualified, experienced, and dynamic professional for the position of Chief Executive Officer (CEO). This role is based at the company’s Head Office in Karachi and will be offered on a merit-based contract, renewable upon satisfactory performance.

Eligibility Criteria

Education Requirements

• A Master’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Public Administration, or any relevant discipline from an HEC-recognized institution.

Age Limit

• Applicants must be under 58 years of age at the time of application submission.

Experience Requirements

• 15+ years of professional experience, including at least 7 years in a senior management leadership role within a reputable local or international organization.

• Strong understanding of project planning and implementation in collaboration with government and market sectors.

• Proven expertise in designing and implementing projects related to technology, human resources capacity-building, and business development in the Gems & Jewellery industry or a similar field.

• Must demonstrate leadership capabilities, negotiation skills, and the ability to manage stakeholder relationships effectively.

• Experience in financial risk management, business analysis, and multi-stakeholder project execution.

Additional Requirements

• Candidates must be Pakistani nationals. Dual nationality holders are not eligible to apply.

• Government and public sector employees must submit a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their respective departments.
