University of Okara Announces Walk-In Interviews for Various Positions

The University of Okara, a distinguished public sector institution established under the Government of Punjab Act XIII of 2016, has opened walk-in interviews for various positions on a daily wage/work charge basis for a tenure of 89 days.

• Auto Mechanic (Motor)
• Attendant
• Bus Conductor
• Sweeper

Eligibility Criteria

Each role has specific educational and professional requirements.

• Graduate Engineer (Civil and Mechanical): A B.Sc. (Second Division) in the relevant field, recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC), along with registration with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC).
• Research Assistant: A master’s degree or BS (Second Division) in the relevant field from an HEC-recognized institution.
• Caretaker: A bachelor’s degree (Second Division) or an equivalent qualification recognized by HEC.
• Sub Engineer (Civil): Diploma of Associate Engineering in Civil Engineering from a recognized institute.
• Painter: Secondary School Certificate (Second Division) along with a diploma in painting from a recognized institute.
• Driver: Secondary School Certificate (Second Division), a valid HTV/PSV license, and at least five years of driving experience.
• Other Skilled Positions (e.g., Carpenter, Auto Mechanic): Secondary School Certificate (Second Division) with a relevant diploma or recognized certification.
• Unskilled Roles (Attendants, Bus Conductors, Sweepers): Candidates should be literate, with relevant experience being preferred.

Interview Schedule

Walk-in interviews will be conducted at the Registrar’s Office, University of Okara, located at 2-KM Main Multan Road, Renalakhurd Bypass, Okara.

• For positions Graduate Engineer to Painter: January 18, 2025.
• For all other positions, including Drivers and Attendants: January 19, 2025.

Candidates must report between 9:00 AM and 1:00 PM on the designated date.

2. Preference will be given to candidates with relevant experience.
