CSS Competitive Examination-2025: Schedule Announced
The Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC) has released the detailed schedule for the CSS Competitive Examination-2025. This announcement follows the previously published notice in the national press dated December 22, 2024, and on the FPSC’s official website.
The CSS examination, aimed at selecting candidates for Pakistan’s central superior services, will be conducted from February 15 to February 23, 2025. Below is the detailed date sheet for compulsory and optional subjects:
Compulsory Subjects
- Saturday, 15th February 2025
- English Essay: 09:00 AM – 12:00 PM
- English (Précis and Composition): 02:00 PM – 05:00 PM
- Sunday, 16th February 2025
- General Knowledge (General Science and Ability): 09:00 AM – 12:00 PM
- General Knowledge (Current Affairs): 02:00 PM – 05:00 PM
- Monday, 17th February 2025
- General Knowledge (Pakistan Affairs): 09:00 AM – 12:00 PM
- Islamic Studies/Comparative Study of Major Religions (For Non-Muslims): 02:00 PM – 05:00 PM
Optional Subjects
- Tuesday, 18th February 2025
- Various subjects including Accountancy, Economics, International Relations, and others from 09:00 AM – 12:00 PM.
- Wednesday, 19th February 2025
- Sindhi, Sociology, Agriculture & Forestry, and others from 09:00 AM – 12:00 PM.
- Environmental Sciences, Gender Studies, and more from 02:00 PM – 05:00 PM.
- Thursday, 20th February 2025
- A wide array of legal and history-related subjects along with Business Administration, Statistics, and others from 09:00 AM – 12:00 PM and 02:00 PM – 05:00 PM.
- Friday, 21st February 2025
- Subjects like Physics, Chemistry, Pure Mathematics, and others will be conducted during allocated times.
- Saturday, 22nd February 2025 to Sunday, 23rd February 2025
- Additional exams for science and technical subjects will conclude the examination.
