LESCO is offering qualified and experienced professionals an opportunity for the position of Chief Information Technology Officer (CITO). Responsibilities and Skills:

Main responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to:

• The applicant shall report to the Chief Executive Officer / Board of Directors (BOD).
• The applicant will be responsible for steering the organization toward its long-term goals, which demand in-depth awareness of the industry and market trends.
• The applicant must have necessary academic qualifications and knowledge of IT systems.
• The applicant shall oversee all IT affairs of LESCO at its Head Office, Regional Offices, and its IT personnel.
• The applicant is responsible for developing IT strategies, IT policies, and procedures as standards that support the goals and business needs of LESCO.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to lead and cultivate community relationships.
• A clear and viable vision for LESCO, readiness to face challenges, and identifying opportunities for growth.
• The ability to demonstrate integrity, accountability, and ethical execution of responsibilities.

Qualification and Experience:

Academic Qualification:

• 16-years degree in information technology/information systems, computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field from an HEC-recognized local/foreign university.
• Preference is given to applicants with a Master’s degree.

Experience:

• Minimum 15 years of post-qualification experience, including at least 5 years in a senior-level position in a large-sized private/government sector organization.
• Demonstrated experience in managing IT systems and solutions for large-scale customer billing.
• Broad knowledge of information systems, software languages, IT trends, and technologies.
• Demonstrated experience in complex change management and integrating teams.
• Experience with ERP systems (HR and Financial).
• Experience with development, data analytics, and frameworks.

Remuneration and Contract Period:

• Market-based competitive salary based on qualifications and experience.
• Initial contract of 3 years, extendable based on performance.
