The Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) is seeking qualified and experienced candidates for two part-time Assistant Legal Advisor (Assistant Law Advisor) positions. Responsibilities and Terms:
- Represent the RDA in filing cases and defending appeals across all civil courts, the High Court, service, and labor tribunals.
- Provide legal advice to the RDA for official matters.
- Prepare and submit responses to court-related cases.
- Assist the Legal Advisor in handling legal matters.
- Abide by any additional directives issued by the Government of Punjab as needed.
- The contract duration is two years, with a monthly salary of PKR 50,000.
The Punjab Government reserves the right to terminate the contract with one month’s notice or payment of one month’s salary. Similarly, the Assistant Legal Advisor may also resign with one month’s notice or salary.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Applicants must hold a BA-LLB degree.
- A minimum of three years of active legal practice is required.
- Membership in the High Court Bar Council is mandatory.
Appointments will be made in accordance with Government guidelines under letter No. 1/2008/1941-2: Gen dated May 14, 2011. All contracts and performance reviews will follow the prescribed rules.
