The Government of Pakistan through the Ministry of National Food Security & Research (MNFSR) has announced exciting job opportunities for highly qualified professionals. These positions are available under the Federal Project Management Unit (FPMU) for the National Program for Animal Disease Surveillance, FMD and PPR Control, and Animal Track and Traceability. Professionals with experience in animal health, public health, project management, and monitoring & evaluation are encouraged to apply.

Available Positions

The Ministry is hiring for the following roles on a contract basis:

1. Project Director (PPS-10)

• Qualification: Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) required; Master’s or Ph.D. in Epidemiology, Veterinary Epidemiology, or Public Health preferred.
• Experience: Minimum 15 years in the relevant field, proven experience in large-scale program management. MBA, MPA, or project management experience is an advantage.
• Age Limit: 40–62 years

2. Program Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist (PPS-08)

• Qualification: Master’s degree in Economics, Statistics, Public Administration, Social Sciences, or related development studies.
• Experience: 5+ years in monitoring and evaluation, preferably in development programs, public policy, or non-profit organizations.
• Age Limit: 30–45 years

3. Admin Cum Accounts Officer (PPS-07)

• Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Accounts, Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years in an administrative role, preferably within program management.
• Age Limit: 25–35 years

4. Procurement Officer (PPS-07)

• Qualification: 16 years of education in Economics, Management Sciences, Commerce, or Social Sciences.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years in procurement and contracting operations. Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills required.
• Age Limit: 25–35 years

5. Office Assistant (PPS-06)

• Qualification: Graduation with relevant skills.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years in office administration, preferably in the public sector.
• Age Limit: 25–35 years
